 AUBG propose preparation Dalf courses since Fall 2002 and the 1st exam was organised in February 2003 in partenership with the French Institute in Sofia.

What is DALF and what is it for?

The Dalf is a proficiency level exam of French for foreigners. It prooves your ability to speak and write fluently French in specialised fields.
With this exam you can ask to join directly a 2nd or 3rd year (sometimes 4th) in a French university* without taking a language exam. It prooves than your level of French is good enough to follow lectures and take exams of the French university you register in.
 
* There is an exception for La Sorbonne which has its own exam.

What are the tests like ?

Acces exam to DALF. It is compose of a writing test : contraction of a text on contemporary civilisation, and few comprehension questions and vocabulary. And an oral test : debat your opinion on a subject link to the theme of the writing test

The dalf is composed of 4 exams that can be taken individually called B1, B2, B3 and B4.
B1 and 3 are writing exams, B1 is a "compte rendu" of a text + comprehensive questions and B3 is a "synthèse" of few texts + comprehensive questions.
B2 and 4 are oral exams, B2 is a listening and comprehension exam (from a tape, a video report ...) and B4 is a presentation like a mini-conference based on the theme of a given document.
